UU World, a quarterly magazine published by the UUA, helps its readers to build their faith and act on it more effectively in their personal lives, their congregations, their communities, and the world.  To this end, it strives to be not only informative but also useful, provocative, and even prophetic. The mission of the Pacific Southwest District (PSWD) is to proclaim the positive faith of liberal religion by promoting the Principles and Purposes of the Unitarian Universalist Association, serving as a resource for local congregations, and helping to extend Unitarian Universalist influence in the larger community.
